Worker rescued after fall at construction site

A construction worker has been rescued after falling at a downtown site.

It happened around 8 a.m. Thursday on Front Street East at Church Street.

It appears the man was in a 35-foot hole when he fell about nine feet.

According to police, he hit his head but was conscious and breathing.

He was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
