The Vancouver Canucks will be without defenceman Sami Salo.

Salo suffered a concussion in Vancouver’s 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins on Saturday, according to Sportsnet’s Dan Murphy.

No further details have been reported.

Bruins forward Brad Marchand upended Salo with a low hit in the second period. Marchand was given a game misconduct and a clipping penalty. The Bruins forward will most likely have a hearing with NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan.

In 38 games this season, Salo has six goals and 10 assists.

Murphy also reported that the Canucks have recalled forward Mike Duco from the Rochester Americans of the AHL.
