Occupy protesters ordered to leave Nathan Phillips Square

Toronto officials have issued an eviction notice to a group of Occupy Toronto protesters camped out at Nathan Phillips Square.
The notice, issued under the Trespass to Property Act, said the protesters must remove their tents, shelters and other structures by 5 p.m. Thursday from 130 Queen St. W and 361 University Ave.
Occupy protesters participated in a rally on Tuesday evening at city hall organized by Toronto Stop the Cuts Network and its allies who were protesting the proposed budget cuts that councillors were considering.
Some of the 100 or so protesters clashed with police officers, and four men were charged with obstructing a peace officer, unlawful assembly and mischief interfere with property.
Their names weren’t disclosed.
