Vehicle hits Second Cup storefront at Adelaide and University

TORONTO, Ont. – Traffic lights were out for some time Monday morning, after a vehicle crashed into both the Second Cup and traffic control box at the southeast corner of Adelaide Street and University Avenue.

Police told 680News the crash sent one of the vehicles involved up over the sidewalk and into the storefront.

Police were on point duty directing traffic after the incident, and reports indicate nobody was injured.

There have been no initial estimates as to the magnitude of the damage.
