Big damage at Brampton home after fire

A fire caused serious damage to a Brampton home early Tuesday, forcing a family to find somewhere else to stay.
Firefighters were called to a house on Preakness Court, near Steeles and Mavis Road, around 12:30 a.m.
No one was hurt in the blaze, but it did cause significant smoke and water damage inside the home.
There’s no word on the cause of the fire or on a damage estimate.
