Columbus to host 2013 NHL All-Star Game

The all-star game is heading to Cowtown.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will host the 2013 NHL All-Star Game, Sportsnet’s John Shannon is reporting.

This will be the first time the Blue Jackets will host the all-star game since their birth into the NHL in 2000.

Currently, the Blue Jackets sit last in the league with 32 points in 49 games, nine points behind the Edmonton Oilers, who are second last.

The 2012 all-star game is taking place this weekend in Ottawa.
