Giants practice, Patriots rest before Super Bowl

A broken-down bus failed to prevent the New York Giants from finishing off their Super Bowl preparations with a shortened practice session on Saturday while the New England Patriots took the day off to spend time with family and friends.
The Giants were on their way to the University of Indianapolis for their final pre-game training session when one of the four buses shuttling the team broke down.
But the National Football League quickly commandeered another bus to get the players back on route and in time for their final practice session, a 48-minute walk-through.
The practice included 10 minutes of work on special team situations then alternating between the offensive and defensive teams.
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw showed no signs of pain as he completed his offense drills as the teams took it easy while Indianapolis was buzzing with excitement on the eve of America’s most-watched annual sports event.
The Patriots took the day off, but spent 90 minutes at Lucas Oil Stadium posing for their official team Super Bowl photos.
