Police search for suspect wanted in robbery investigation

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a robbery investigation.

It is alleged that, on February 8, Jonathan Hebert, 27, walked into a house in the Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue area.  When he was confronted by a 59-year-old woman in the house, he stole her purse and pushed her to the ground before fleeing the scene.

It is also alleged that the next day the same man walked into a bank in the Church Street and Wellesley Street area, indicated he was armed and demanded money from the teller.  He then fled the scene with the money.

Hebert is described as white, 27, 5’6″, 150 lbs. with black hair.

Police say he is considered dangerous.
