Report: Raonic set to play at SAP Open

Milos Raonic will be defending his title in San Jose.
The 21-year-old Canadian tennis star is expected to return to action for the SAP Open, according to a tweet from Tennis Canada on Tuesday.
The 29th-ranked singles player in the world pulled out of the Davis Cup during Canada’s match with France after experiencing pain his left knee on Sunday.
Raonic, who will be the third seed at the SAP Open event, told the National Post that he should be able to manage the pain throughout the tournament.
“This whole week I’ve been having a little soreness,” Raonic said. “A lot of days out of the year you’re going to play with some discomfort.”
The Thornhill, Ont., native is set to face off against Tobias Kamke in the opening round of the tournament on Wednesday.
