Police make arrest in sexual assault investigation

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have made an arrest in connection with a sexual assault in the city’s east end.

Investigators say a man met the victim in the downtown and enticed her back to his apartment near Broadview Avenue and Cosburn Avenue with the promise of a modelling job.

33-year-old Errol Spooner of Toronto has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, forcible confinement, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Police say there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
