Collision closes Airport & King in Caledon

A man sustained serious injuries on Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Airport Road and King Street in Caledon.

Caledon police say the area will be closed until at least 7 p.m. to investigate the serious accident, which occurred just after 10:30 a.m. and involved a Honda Civic car and a tractor-trailer.

The 46-year-old driver of the Honda was taken to Brampton Civic Hospital. The truck driver was unharmed.

Police say the Honda was travelling westbound on King when it collided in the intersection with the tractor-trailer that was going southbound on Airport.
