CBC’s Don Cherry joins social networking site Twitter

Don Cherry has joined Twitter — @CoachsCornerCBC –but the CBC isn’t letting him tweet all by himself.

Both Cherry and “Hockey Night in Canada” producer Kathy Broderick will write and send the tweets.

The 78-year-old star of Coach’s Corner announced this Twitter account during an interview with fellow CBC personality George Stroumboulopoulos on Thursday.

Cherry has over 4,000 followers so far.
