Missing 76-year-old woman found safe

Toronto police have found a missing 76-year-old woman after launching a city-wide search Saturday morning.

Cynthia Swan disappeared after leaving Toronto General Hospital around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Officers found her in a fast-food restaurant near Finch Avenue East and Brimley Road before noon on Saturday.

She was taken to the Scarborough Hospital’s general campus at McCowan and Lawrence Avenue East for assessment.
