UFC CENTRAL: History in the making

We have all the answers and more as we take you inside the octagon to get you all caught up on all the latest news in the world of mixed martial arts.

We preview what’s next for all the champions in of each weight class in the UFC and we go into detail on what went wrong for Brian Bowles when he got choked out by former WEC champ and current Ultimate Fighter Live coach Urijah (The Kid) Faber with a guillotine in Beginning of the End.

If you don’t know what a guillotine choke is we go to fight school with Jason (The Athlete) MacDonald who shows us how to pull off the popular submission.

With the month of March being very quiet for the Ultimate Fighting Championship action picks right back up in April and May especially for Canadian fighters. Rory MacDonald, Mark Hominick and Mark Bocek are all on the main card for UFC 145 Jones vs. Evans April 21st in Atlanta while John Makdessi will be on the prelims. Then on May 5th Canadian welterweight Nick Denis will be fighting in the prelims at the UFC on Fox Diaz vs. Miller while Jason MacDonald and T.J. Grant are in action at UFC on Fuel TV 3 on May 15th. We preview all their upcoming bouts and who they will be facing.

We get up close and personal with Rory MacDonald, John Makdessi, Mark Hominick and Jason MacDonald. Find out how these fighters got there nick names, what the first thing they eat after a weigh in or a fight is and what their everyday vehicle is, in “Getting to Know.”
