In The Bachelor finale that aired Monday night, Ben Flajnik handed out the ultimate prize: no mere rose, the lucky lady went home with an enormous diamond engagement ring.
The 16th season ended with a proposal on a mountaintop in Switzerland – but there was a surprise in store for viewers.
If you haven’t watched yet, now is the time to stop reading: After Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson, he was treated to a video of her behind-the-scene antics.
In the After the Rose special, Flajnik said he saw a different side of Robertson – one that wasn’t always kind to her fellow competitors.
But it didn’t appear to put a damper on their relationship.
The Bachelor finale was taped in November and three months later, when the special was filmed, the two are still going strong.
The Bachelor Canada premieres this fall on Citytv.
