Third family member charged in Brampton murder

A third family member is facing charges in the murder of a 27-year-old Brampton woman, Poonam Litt.
Police have charged her brother-in-law, Skinder Punia of Brampton, 42, with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Lit disappeared in 2009 and her remains were found three months ago in a field in Caledon.
Punia is the husband of Litt’s sister-in-law, who had been charged with second-degree murder in her death.
Litt’s 63-year-old father-in-law is also charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
