Man charged in connection with Hamilton 7-Eleven fire to appear in court Wednesday

A Mississauga man charged in connection with a fire at a Hamilton 7-Eleven is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
30-year-old Sami Karnaz has been charged with arson and disregard for human life in connection with the fatal fire.
Police arrived at the scene on Main Street, east of Ashford Boulevard, Saturday to find the 7-Eleven and two nearby vehicles fully engulfed in flames.
At the time of the fire, the store was closed for renovations.
The body of 21-year-old Samir Nbari was found inside the building on Sunday.
Nbari was working in the building when the fire broke out.
Charges against Karnaz are expected to be upgraded to second-degree murder when he appears in court.
