Britax has recalled three car seat models sold in Canada due to a potential choking hazard involving the seats’ padding.
The company is voluntarily recalling its Boulevard 65-G3, Pavilion 65-G3, and Advocate 65-G3 models over concerns children could bite or chew off pieces of the pliable chest padding on the harness system.
“To address this issue, Britax is providing a remedy kit that contains two replacement HUGS Pads that are made from a firmer material that will not break apart when children chew or bite the [pads],” Britax said in a statement.
