Driver arrested after foot-chase

A driver is in custody after a police chase early Saturday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. on Innes Avenue, near Caledonia and Rogers roads in the west end.

An officer tried to pull over a driver, who continued without stopping and then ditched his car, police say.

During the incident, a cruiser rear-ended the suspect’s vehicle and was damaged.
