Sperm donor comedy ‘Seed’ debuts on City

Seed, a new half-hour sitcom following an unlikely family, debuted on City on Monday.

The sperm donor comedy follows Harry (actor Adam Korson), a bachelor who meets his teenage daughter and 10-year-old son and their respective families.

“The cast is incredible. We would go to set everyday and just laugh,” Korson, a Toronto native, told Breakfast Television.

Both children, the products of Harry’s earlier sperm donation, track him down independently.

“The son kind of hates me, like any kid with their parent,” Korson said, while the daughter is a “typical” teen.

The Canadian show was filmed in Halifax and is one of two original comedies commissioned by City. Package Deal follows one woman who thinks she’s met the ideal man – until she finds out he’s too close to his two older brothers.
