It has been at least a decade since Toronto has had those “bendy buses” on city streets, but there are now reports they’ll soon be back.
The TTC says more than two dozen new articulated buses will come into service this fall.
If things go well, the TTC says they want to buy another 126 of the buses for a total price tag of nearly $120 million.
The stretch buses will be able to carry up to 112 riders, or nearly twice as many as a standard bus.
They will be used to service some of Toronto’s busiest bus routes, including Dufferin, Don Mills and Finch West.
