Carly Rae Jepsen releases video for ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’

Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepsen has unleashed a new single and video from her album Kiss.

The video for Tonight I’m Getting Over You was released on Friday, but it remains to be seen whether it will be as big a hit as her breakthrough single.

The song and video for Call Me Maybe went viral last year, with everyone from Justin Bieber to the US women’s soccer team putting their own spin on the catchy song.

Jepsen was twice nominated for a Grammy – for song of the year and best pop solo performance – but lost to .fun and Adele, respectively.

Maybe she’ll have better luck at the Junos: the former Canadian Idol contestant is up for five awards this year.

Jepsen is nominated for single of the year, album of the year, pop album of the year, artist of the year and the fan choice award.
The Junos will be handed out in Regina on April 21.
