Police make arrest in 2012 Brampton murder

Peel police have made an arrest after a woman was found dead in the basement of a Brampton rooming house last year.

The body of Marcieline Newland, 22, was found on Nov. 16, 2012, on Crystal Glen Crescent, near Williams Parkway and Chinguacousy Road.

Police have not released the cause of death.

Aaron Shane Ally, 23, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder. He will appear in court on Wednesday.
