Third man charged in Malton homicide

A third man faces a murder charge in last year’s shooting in Malton that killed a Brampton man.
Peel police said that Steven Vanroy Browne, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday.
Dwayne Alexander Thompson, 32, was shot to death behind a building on Darcel Avenue, near Goreway and Morningstar drives, around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, 2012.
Amal Everton Greensword, 23, of Brampton, and Adrian Jordan Williams, 19, of Mississauga, were also charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting.
Browne is expected in a Brampton court on Wednesday.
