Construction on Highway 7 between Bayview and East Beaver Creek now underway

TORONTO, Ont. – Traffic on Highway 7 north of Toronto is about to get more congested.
Crews began paving work on the roadway, between Bayview Avenue and East Beaver Creek Road, on Sunday.
The construction is part of the York-Viva bus rapid-transit Rapidway project that is scheduled to open his summer between Bayview Avenue and Highway 404.
There will be alternating lane and intersection closures during weekdays and weekends over the next six-week period.
