Japandroids will open Toronto’s newest downtown venue, the Adelaide Music Hall, with a sold-out concert on Monday night.
Adelaide Music Hall will take over two floors of the former London Tap House at 250 Adelaide St. W., near Duncan Street, in the heart of the city’s entertainment district. The rest of the existing bar will be renamed the Tap House.
According to the hall’s website, the renovated venue has two levels and a balcony overlooking the stage. Eventually, it will also be used for private events.
After the Vancouver-based Japandroids perform, the next big concert scheduled is New York City’s Blonde Redheads, who will perform on July 15.
Indie pop rockers Crocodiles will open the Japandroids show.
