Toronto police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed after a fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay on Monday.
The teen was stabbed in the abdomen just before 11 p.m.
The attack happened near the swimming pool, near Lake Shore Boulevard and Coxwell Avenue.
He was rushed to hospital for surgery and is expected to recover.
No arrests have been made and there’s no word yet on what sparked the attack.
Hundreds of people had earlier packed the park to watch the annual Canada Day celebration.
