Motorcyclist dies following Etobicoke crash

A 23-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Etobicoke.

Toronto police say he suffered life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car at Kipling Avenue and Jutland Road, north of the Gardiner Expressway, around 3 p.m. on Monday.

The victim, whose name hasn’t been release, died in hospital on Tuesday.

Police say the motorcyclist was driving north on Kipling when he hit a Honda Accord. The driver of the Accord, a 49-year-old man, was turning from Jutland onto Kipling at the time of the crash.

No charges have been laid.

The man’s death marks the city’s 23rd traffic fatality of the year.
