New report raises questions about global warming

Questions are being raised about the world’s temperature with a new report which some say “dials back the alarm” on global warning.

The intergovernmental panel on climate change is about to present its first report in six years, at a global meeting next week in Stockholm.

The National Post reports that the group now believes that global temperatures will rise by between 1.5 and 4.5 degrees Celsius.

That is a half degree lower than previous estimates.
