Highway 7 is closed in both directions from Highway 50 to Highway 427 after a crash.
A car and a tractor-trailer collided around 5 a.m. on Friday.
One driver was briefly trapped but has since been freed and taken to hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police said the road will likely be close through much of the morning rush, as there is a fair amount of fuel spilled on the roadway.
