Arson suspected in Markham Street fire

Police believe a fire at a home in Trinity-Bellwoods on Saturday may have been deliberately set.

Around 2 a.m., firefighters were called to the house on Markham Street, near Dundas and Bathurst, and soon doused the flames.

No one was hurt.

Officers say they’re investigating the case as arson, but so far have not made any arrests.

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office is also investigating.
