Toronto police have named a suspect in Tuesday night’s shooting on Wellesley Street that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries.
Kimani Clarke, 18, is wanted on two counts of attempted murder after he allegedly opened fire on two 19 year old men at 240 Wellesley Street E. just before 10 p.m.
Police say Clarke approached the men, pulled out a gun, and started firing. The victims fled on foot, but the suspect caught up to one of them and shot him several times.
The other man escaped unharmed.
Police say Clarke should be considered armed and dangerous. He’s described as black, six foot two, 180 pounds with short black hair.
