One dead in Mississauga house fire

One person is dead after a house fire on Widemarr Road in the Winston Churchill and Royal Windsor Drive area of Mississauga, paramedics say.
The blaze broke out shortly before 7 p.m. Monday.
Paramedics say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. There has been no word on the age or sex of the victim
At one point the home was fully engulfed, preventing firefighters from entering the building to search for other victims.
Police say damage to the house was extensive.
