Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck on the Danforth

A woman in her 20s is in serious but non-life threatening condition after being struck by a car on Danforth and Gillard avenues just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the woman was intoxicated when she stumbled into traffic and was struck.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.

There has been no word on charges.
