Man, 56, dies after crash in Markham

Ontario provincial police say a 56-year-old man died in a crash in Markham on Friday morning.

A Toyota Corolla was heading north on Highway 48, north of Elgin Mills Road, when it crossed into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on with a dump truck around 9 a.m.

The Corolla driver, identified as Sinh Hung Duong of Markham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
