Scarborough restaurants have won over a popular American economist for their mouthwatering dishes.
Tyler Cowen, an economics professor at George Mason University, was introduced to four different locations in Scarborough by local Peter Loewen.
After much driving and eating, Cowen concluded, “Scarborough is the best ethnic food suburb I have seen in my life, ever, and by an order of magnitude.” He then posted to a blog asking if the location is the dining capital of the world?
Cowen has contributed to The New York Times.
Here is the map of diverse restaurants in Scarborough CityNews reporter Adrian Ghobrial explored.
