Toronto city councillor and social media maven Norm Kelly was once again caught up in the middle of a Toronto vs. Philadelphia rap battle Friday night.
The 74-year-old councillor had previously weighed in on the Drake vs. Meek Mill beef, sticking up for the T.O. rapper while calling out the Philly product.
That gave Toronto’s Kid Twist the idea of inviting Kelly to make an appearance during his bout at “World Domination 5” against Philadelphia rapper Rone.
And, understandably, the crowd went wild.
Kelly took his share of verbal jabs (click here to watch his PG-13 intro), but it seemed like fun was had by all:
Kelly also shared some words of wisdom that we can all appreciate, whether you’re a hip hop head or not.
