Rob Ford suffers health setback: reports

Former Toronto mayor and current city councillor Rob Ford has reportedly suffered a health setback.

Ford’s brother, Doug Ford, told radio station AM640 that he’s hit a “bump in the road.”

When asked by the Toronto Star if his cancer had returned, Doug Ford said the family was talking to the hospital about the situation, but didn’t elaborate.

Ford’s health problems began in September 2014, when he was admitted to hospital complaining of abdominal pain. Doctors discovered a tumour which was later determined to be a malignant liposarcoma.

After several rounds of chemotherapy, Ford underwent a successful surgery and eventually returned to work at city hall.
