Sometimes, the best deals can bring out the worst in people.
We’ve all seen those ridiculous Black Friday videos showing frenzied shoppers fighting tooth and nail for the glorious right to get their hands on a marked-down product.
In case you haven’t, here’s just one sad example of out of control consumerism from the United States. This brawl was apparently sparked when someone snagged the last pair of Air Jordans.
But not everyone is buying what’s for sale.
The hashtag #BuyNothingDay was trending on Friday, with people from around the world touting the benefits of taking a break from the madness and focusing on more important things than Walmart sales.
