Man shot in the neck at Toronto Community Housing building

A 21-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the basement of a Toronto Community Housing building near Downsview on early Sunday morning.
Police said the incident happened in the area of Falstaff Avenue and Jane Street around 6 a.m.
The victim — believed to be a resident of the building — was found with a gunshot wound to the neck but is expected to survive, investigators say.
There is no word yet on any suspect descriptions, but police say they are continuing to investigate.
