Bullet fired into Port Union home

Residents in Port Union are on edge after a bullet went flying through a home on Sunday night.

Police arrived at the home on Rozell Road, near Kingston Road and Sheppard Avenue East, shortly before 11 p.m., for reports of gunshot sounds.

According to police, five to six shots were initially heard, and several shell casings were found at a nearby parking garage. One bullet struck the home.

No one was injured. It’s not known if anyone was home at the time, and no arrests have been made.
