Toronto police investigating broad daylight shooting near Weston and Lawrence

Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in broad daylight on Friday morning.
His injuries are believed to be serious. It’s not yet known why he was shot, or how many times. No arrests have been made.
The shooting happened at Weston Road and Bellevue Crescent, south of Lawrence Avenue West, just before 11 a.m.
Clothing and a bicycle can be seen outside a restaurant in the area, and police say they have already taken surveillance video from a nearby store.
The area is closed for the investigation.
