Nearly six-months after a brazen daylight shooting took the life of a 17-year-old boy, Toronto police have released new security footage of the suspect’s vehicle.
On Nov. 19, 2016, Caheem “Clayshawn” Ramsuchit — who also used the family name”Monteith” — was visiting friends in the backyard of one of the units on Shoreham Drive, near Jane Street and Steeles Avenue West, when the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m.
Shortly after the boy arrived, witnesses say a dark-coloured SUV drove up and two males got out and walked over to the backyard. It’s alleged the suspects fired as many as six shots over the fence, striking the boy.
Police say either friends or family drove Ramsuchit to the hospital where he later died.
The newly released security video shows the suspect’s vehicle leaving the scene.

Previously released security footage showed two men running from a home and getting into a large black SUV.
The video can be seen below or click here to view it on YouTube. There is a flash at the 12-second mark. Police said that is a raindrop – not a gunshot.
Police also released two photos of the men running from the area. They can be seen below.
