Yard closed, school open, after sewage leak in Ajax

The yard at Lord Eglin Public School in Ajax is closed due to a sewage leak, but the school is open.

Durham Region crews are on the scene repairing the problem, a spokesperson for the Durham District School Board told CityNews on Wednesday.

Crews are dealing with two sinkholes and two breaks in the sewage pipes running into the school yard.
