Toronto police have arrested four people in connection with a jewelry theft from a North York store earlier this year.
Police responded to a call at a store in the Don Mills and Lawrence Avenue East area on January 28.
Two men and two women reportedly entered the store and began asking about various items of jewelry and methods of payment.
While store employees were distracted by their questions, one of the suspects allegedly took jewelry from the display case and hid it before the employees noticed.
All four suspects then left the store without attempting to pay for any of the items they took.
Police launched an investigation and identified the four suspects who were arrested between June 4 and July 25.
Lazar Sava, Stela Rostas, Teusan-Nistor Solomon and Tanase Haret were each charged with theft over $5000.
Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact them.
