Overnight closures on York-Bay-Yonge off-ramp, nearby downtown streets

Drivers, heads-up if you are heading downtown this week or over the weekend: there will be intermittent closures on the eastbound Gardiner Expressway York-Bay-Yonge off-ramp and on other downtown streets.
One set of the closures start on Wednesday and end on Saturday, while the second round of closures are on Sunday.
The city says the closures are for road paving work.
The following road closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. on Wednesday to 5 a.m. on Thursday, and from 9 p.m. on Thursday to 5 a.m. on Friday:
- Harbour Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Lower Simcoe and Bay streets
- Lower Simcoe Street, York Street and Bay Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic
The following closures will be in effect from 10 p.m. on Friday to 10 a.m. on Saturday:
- Intersection of Lower Simcoe Street at Harbour Street and Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed
- Harbour Street between Lower Simcoe and York streets will be off-limits to drivers
- Gardiner York-Bay-Yonge off-ramp will be closed and drivers using the eastbound Lake Shore Boulevard will be diverted at Rees Street northbound or southbound
The following closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday:
- Harbour Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Lower Simcoe and Bay streets
