Teen suffers minor injuries after reports of gunshot heard near Danforth and Midland

An ‘adult teen’ is in hospital after police were called to the Danforth Road and Midland Avenue area on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the area near Wolfe Road after receiving reports of a shot being fired.
The investigation triggered a lockdown of the Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies, the TDSB said. The hold and secure was lifted just before 4 p.m.
Police say the 18 or 19 year old was found inside the school.
Paramedics would not indicate what kind of injuries the teen suffered. Police say he was likely grazed by a bullet while seeking cover.
Police have not released any suspect information yet as continue to investigate.
