Female suspect sought in St. James Town stabbing

Police are searching for a female suspect following a stabbing in St. James Town.
Police were called to Sherbourne Street and Howard Street area just before 11 p.m. following reports a woman had been stabbed.
A female victim was located with what police termed a slash to the torso. She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as black, heavy build with long hair extensions with red tips. She was last seen wearing pink “fluffy” sandals.
Police say the suspect is considered armed and are asking anyone who sees her not to approach her but call police.
