Boil water advisory in effect for some Milton residents

Halton Region’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a boil water advisory for residents in an area of Milton.
The advisory is due to a watermain break and is in effect until further notice.
“Residents should use an alternate water supply or boil their water at a rolling boil for at least one minute before drinking, gargling, brushing teeth or rinsing their mouth; making baby food or formula; washing dishes; washing fruits, vegetables and other food; or making any meals, drinks or ice,” reads the advisory.
