Police identify victim in city’s 11th homicide of 2019

Toronto police say they’ve made an arrest in the city’s 11th homicide of 2019.

Police say they were called around 12:30 p.m. Monday to a suspicious death in the area of Mount Pleasant Road and Broadway Avenue.

A 47-year-old man, identified by police as Jason Otis Lewis, was found unconscious and not breathing.

Paramedics tried to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Quentin Luke Lewis, 42, from Toronto is under arrest and the investigation continues.
